ABOUT US
Located just minutes from downtown Houston, Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center is the southwest’s premier facility for ice skating, hockey, figure skating and parties. We feature dual rinks, a pro shop, multiple entertainment options, superior activity and hospitality centers, and a lively schedule of classes and special events for skaters of all ages. We’re also the official practice facility to the AHL Calder Cup Champion Houston Aeros hockey team.
Sugar Land Ice & Sports operates year round, 7 days a week, closing only for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. As home to 3 youth travel associations, 4 adult leagues, in-house youth hockey, Learn to Skate, and the Houston Ice Theatre Skaters, action can be found on the ice nearly 19 hours a day. The rink is home to the Texas Gulf Coast Figure Skating Club and it is often used by the Houston Figure Skating Club for special events. Don’t be surprised if you find a hockey tournament and figure skating competiton taking place on the same weekend! There’s always something exciting happening inside the rink.
