PUBLIC SKATING
Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center is the only dual rink facility in the Gulf Coast. This means that we offer open skating sessions almost every day of the week. Please refer to our rink calendar for specific days and times.
Ice skating is an activity that is fun for the entire family. It’s also healthy and affordable. Public sessions are generally two hours in length with a 15 minute break for ice cleaning. Supervision is provided by staff members who remain on the ice at all times. If you prefer not to skate, we have ample seating inside the rink. A limited amount of seating with a view of the rink is also available at Pappa LaRosa’s Pizza which is located inside Rink A.
You do not need your own skates in order to enjoy Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center. We carry a full line of rental skates in a wide range of sizes. We have both hockey style and figure style skates so you are sure to find a pair that fits you just right.
Special public skating sessions are held through out the year. This includes theme skates and sessions designed for various groups such as teens. Be sure to check the calendar link for the most up-to-date schedule.
$10.00 admission. Includes skates. $8 per session frequent skater card available. Current Learn to Skate students $6.00 including skates.
Teen night public sessions $12.00. Includes skates and selected activities.
GROUP DISCOUNTS
Special prices are available for large groups. Gather up your friends, family, church group, or social club in order to take advantage of our great group rates. Please call 281-265-7469 to make arrangements in advance.
PRIVATE ICE RENTAL
Sugar Land Ice available for exclusive functions. Private birthday parties, reunions, corporate outings, and other group events can have their own ice rink for private skating, broomball, bumper cars and other ice activities. RENTAL SKATES
Skate sizes range from Toddler size 8 to adult 13. Be sure to arrive early so you are assured of getting just the right size. Some sizes go quickly during busy times.
