Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center provides year round youth and adult hockey leagues. The youth leagues are for developing our future hockey stars and the adult leagues allow all ages and experience to enjoy the game.
With twin rinks, a full slate of classes, leagues, and clinics, as well as a world class team of coaches, Sugar Land Ice provides the most comprehensive hockey program in the region. We’re also the official practice facility 
of the AHL Calder Cup Champion Houston Aeros hockey team. Whether you’re a skating novice or experienced league player, Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center has just the right mix of fun and competition. So get off the couch and get on the stick!
In-House Hockey: Developmental leagues for ages 7-12. There are no tryouts, only evaluations. A practice and game is held each week with limited travel to other area rinks. Emphasis is placed on fun and skill development.
Travel Hockey: This league is comprised of players from the age of 7 thru 18 playing in TAHA. The teams travel all over Texas and Oaklahoma.
HERricane Hockey: Developmental League for girls ages U12 and U19 at the In-House level. Emphasis is placed on skill development and fun. There is one practice and one game per week. Games are played against other teams in the program.
Adult Novice Hockey: Developmental leagues for adult beginners. If you can skate around the rink you can play hockey. Sundays 8:15 and 9:30pm based on schedule. Practice and game weeks rotate. Emphasis is placed on fun and skill development.
Adult Recreational Hockey: Recreational league (higher than novice). Meets for weekly games only (no practice).
Adult B League: The Adult B League is designed to provide adult players a competitive but recreational environment to play in. The average skill level of the league is at an adult B level.
